Still a Classic – I’ll See You Again

This is still one of my favorite songs from my time with the band Short Stories – which was an all original music group based out of Tucson, Arizona in the late 1980’s. Other members include Thom Bissey (co-founder) on bass and vocals, Phil Stevens on keyboards, and Ernie Mendoza on drums.

Heavily influenced by what critics described as strong ska-rock originating from the roots of reggae, this song carried a special meaning to me as it was written to my then toddler son, Daniel, as a message during an on-again-off-again marriage that eventually ended in divorce. And yes, I think of him and my other two children, Noah and Allye, everyday. This song is available on all the major streaming platforms and can be found on my website at TomLGonzales.com.
